Choosing domain name
This is exactly what I've said before. Sometimes you have to purchase a domain name that is easy to remember. Why? Simple. Long domain name takes time to be typed. For example, one of my blog, http://i-want-to-be-a-millionaire.blogspot.com has a really long domain name. But, since it is easy to remember, I still get quite a number of visit everyday.
If I choose a domain name like http://iwtbam.blogspot.com (iwtbam stands for i want to be a millionaire), it is really hard to remember although it is a short one.
You must also consider choosing a domain name that describe your site content. For example, http://adsense-help.blogspot.com is about guide to successful adsense implementation on a site.
You might also want to consider using a .com or .net name as it reflects professionalism. People sometimes put more trust on this kind of domain name. Although you have to pay some amout of money for it, but it is a good investment.
Where can you find this domain name?
Search by google search on 'buy domain name' and you will be given a huge list of sites that you can choose to purchase a domain name.
Another option is by using free URL redirection like .co.nr. You can find this by searching 'free URL redirection'. This one is free and the domain name is relatively short. For example, http://moneyblog.co.nr is easier to remember than http://moneyblog.blogsome.com
You may keep your existing domain name if you're already satisfied with it.
